Brian Schaeffer was appointed Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer of the Bank effective January 1, 2025, having previously served as Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer since August 2023 and Chief Information Security Officer from 2018 through 2023. Prior to joining OceanFirst, Mr. Schaeffer was the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Sun National Bank from 2015 until its acquisition by the Bank in 2018 and previously held information technology leadership roles at Liberty Bell Bank and with the Dow Jones.
